On July 15, 2023, The Amritsar Store proudly participated and exhibited its authentic products at the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) Udyami Samagam in New Delhi. This event, an "Exhibition by Innovator and Entrepreneur Students and Alumni of IGNOU" organized by the National Centre for Innovation in Distance Education, was a fantastic platform for emerging businesses.

While receiving a Certificate of Appreciation for our participation was an honor, the highlight of the day was undoubtedly the visit of the Hon'ble Speaker of Lok Sabha, Sh. Om Birla, to our stall!

It was a moment of immense pride for our founder, Mr. Varun Khanna, to personally interact with such a distinguished dignitary and showcase the rich heritage of Amritsar through our products. As a gesture of respect and to share the vibrant culture we represent, our founder had the distinct honor of facilitating Hon'ble Sh. Om Birla with a beautiful Phulkari Dupatta during his visit to our stall.

This interaction not only highlighted our commitment to promoting authentic Amritsari products like traditional Phulkari, but also underscored the significance of local entrepreneurship on a national stage.
